Rossland Search and Rescue preparing for season

Rossland Search and Rescue is getting ready for the winter season, after a recent meeting with Red Mountain and their ski patrol.

SAR Executive Director Graham Jones says his group of volunteers are relatively  comfortable with the new expansion, he just hopes skiers and boarders pay attention to signage

Jones says now that Grey is included in the ski area boundary Patrol will be sweeping the runs at the end of the day, however anyone who does get lost out of bounds will now be further away from any given point, be it the lodge or SAR Command Centre.

Red Mountain's opening day is this Saturday December 14th.
