Album Review

Four on the Aisle was originally issued in 1959 on Columbia and had been out of print until being reissued in 2001 on Collectables. This pleasant vocal set includes standards taken from classic Broadway musicals from the pens of Cole Porter (Kiss Me, Kate), Rodgers & Hart (Babes in Arms), and Irving Berlin (Annie Get Your Gun). The Ray Ellis Orchestra back up the Four Lads throughout this set. Those who appreciate easy listening music with beautiful harmonies will find this a welcome addition to their collection.
Al Campbell, Rovi
