  • The City of Trail has approved a 450-thousand dollar budget for a new roof on the Aquatic and Leisure Centre Deputy Director of Parks and Recreation Robert Baker says, the original roof is 18 years old work and its quickly approaching the end of its life span Baker says the new roof should have a lifespan of 25 years.
  • The search for 23 year old Gavin Ballard has ended on a positive note. After receiving a tip from the public, on Saturday investigators were able to locate Ballard's abandoned vehicle approximately 3 km from the Buckley's Campground in the Pend Oreille.
  • Trail & Greater District RCMP are asking the public for help after members have responded to 4 separate reports of vandalism at the Beaver Valley Middle School in Fruitvale. The building has been hit with spray painting, broken windows and other vandalism and police are seeking the public's help in identifying the person/s responsible.
